News regarding the mysterious disappearance of the Seattle Social Housing website finally emerged today. The following was posted on Linked In:
Seattle Social Housing has filed a lawsuit in King County Superior Court against its former IT consultant, Andy McMaylor, for locking the public agency out of its own website after his services were terminated. In the lawsuit, the agency requests that the court order the contractor to immediately restore website access. The “socialhousingseattle.org” website, operated by the agency, has displayed an “out of service” message from the hosting company Wix.com for more than two weeks. The agency has tried to resolve this issue amicably but could not reach an agreement with the contractor. The lawsuit was filed on Friday, September 5 and a court hearing has been scheduled for Wednesday, Sept 10 in King County Court. Foster Garvey PC is representing SSH in the lawsuit. We appreciate the public’s patience as we work to get our website back online. We will continue to provide updates as they become available.

An attorney checked the schedule for King County Superior Court with September 10. There is no hearing notice.
